The man in the foreground looks grimly at the running away opponents. These have laid down their swords. The air is stormy and the water is in motion.

Here we can speak of struggles, differences of opinion pushed to the extreme, humiliations, in short conflict situations.

The meaning of this card for yourself can relate to either the person in the foreground or the two others. However, the joy of "victory" in the first case is questionable.
More often, however, you can identify with the two averted figures. These know when to stop. They have laid down their weapons, however, the inner state is different. While one figure walks away with his head held high and his back straight, the other stands turned away and cries.

This shows, that this card can indicate your own negative thoughts and institutions or that you are in unfavorable circumstances. Therefore, this is a warning card (a cruel card).

You have gotten and achieved what you wanted but not in that way that is fair to yourself or another. Arguing and problems make it stormy in your life. Try to be honest because this will not make you happy and it will hurt another person.
